Shortstop Deli

The Shortstop Deli was founded in 1978 by Albert Smith who set out to build the BEST SUB in Ithaca. He chose to use only the finest Meats, Cheeses, and Vegetables and serve it on Bread baked right in the store. He let the customer decide the toppings, so they could really have it Their Way. 

We think he has succeeded in creating Ithaca's BEST SUB as do the readers of the Ithaca Journal and the Ithaca Times. 

Our Sandwiches have been voted "Best of Ithaca" by the readers of both papers almost every year since the inception of the award.

We haven't closed our doors in over 22 years. That's right, so whether you want to come in for a cup of Fresh Brewed Coffee at 7:00 a.m. or if you are hungry for an Award Winning Sub at Midnight, you can always count on us to be open. 

In addition to our delicious Sandwiches and Subs we 
also have a wide variety of drinks and snacks.
