2006 Forbes Enterprise Award

Shangri La receives the coveted small business award!

Winners of the prestigious Forbes Enterprise Awards were formally announced on Feb 5 2007. Forbes chose 72 companies from thousands of nominees to win their coveted award--Shangri La Group Corp alone was chosen for fashion design. The Forbes competition required winners of profit and non-profit companies to stand out in all five areas (Customer Service, New Product/Service Offerings, Marketing, Employee Relations and Community Service). Nominees were judged against others in the same field and region, based on their 2004 to 2006 achievements.

A judging panel of business experts, headed by judith H. Dobrzynski, former reporter and senior editor at The New York Times, Business Week, senior executive at CNBC, and a freelance writer for business, arts, and lifestyle articles chose winners in 25 categories.
